A Finish!

My mom's friend is pregnant with twins, so of course I am making quilts for them! Does she know the sex of the babies? Ummm, no. Slight problem? Not at all! This just gives me an excuse to make not two, but FOUR baby blankets! Yes! (I know, I know. I am on the verge of insanity. . .)

Here is the first one-- all complete! (You will notice that I finished the "Girl" blanket first. It turns out I have a preference towards girlies!!! ;0)

Stippled it-- yay! I love how the binding turned out!

I even had a baby girl test it out for me! Just perfect!

The fabric is "Urban Flannel" by Valori Wells. The softest, thickest flannel ever! Love it! And I used the pattern found here, only there isn't an actual pattern. Just a picture. So I had to make up the pattern as I went along.

And for those keeping track, no, I did not finish it THIS week (Flights of Fancy/Shirring week). I finished it last week. ;0)
