The Camden Dress

This post is part of a month long series called 'Pattern Makeover Month.' I took a simple a-line, peasant dress and 'made-it-over' into many different styles. For more information, go here.

A simple little dress like this is so fun to embellish!
Especially during prom time, the fabric stores have really fancy, unique trims. To add a trim to the bottom, you will need about a yard and a quarter of the trim for a 5T.

Make the dress according to the directions, without creating the casing for the sleeves. Instead, finish the sleeves with a rolled hem or the rolled hem edge on a serger.

Add the trim to the bottom and you are finished.
