Final Thoughts and a Prince

I'm back! Thank you all so much for your input into my little contest. You certainly gave me a lot to think about and consider.

After all the comments left, I have decided that I really want this to just be a fun way to share our talents. There are many different ways to quilt and different levels of experience. I want everyone to feel included. So, I am going to keep it simple. There will be no size restrictions- if you want to make a 6 inch quilt, go for it! And if you only want to submit a quilt top, that works, too. I really don't want a lot of rules and in all honesty, sometimes a simple quilt can be as beautiful as a very intricate quilt. Let's all just have fun! Sound good?

Okay, now that that is out of the way, here is a fun little project to leave you with. A little frog prince.

After actually testing the theory, practice really DOES make perfect! Or, at least, improvement. I am starting to like making cute little toys. The tutorial and pattern can be found at Lil Blue Boo.

Funny - what a simple solution and I think it is the best one.

I made that little froggy a little bit ago and we use him for owies. I just keep him in the freezer. He was pretty much my best friend when I had a 103 fever a couple months ago.
