Blogger's Quilt Festival

Park City Girl is hosting another quilt festival. Yay! If you enjoy looking at quilts, click the link above and enjoy a vast selection of fabulous quilts!

Here is my entry (I know, I know, you all just saw this last week-- but it is one I am proud of!):

The reason I am so proud of this quilt, is that it was done with no pattern, no copying of designs, just my own little brain power coming up with the pattern. AND-- I wrote a tutorial to go along with it-- another first for me (on quilts). It was so much fun and I love how it turned out. Enjoy the festival!

I read your tutorial (clicked through to your blog) and loved that you were able to use up your scraps in such a controlled and interesting way. I have gained insight and yes, some inspiration from your quilt--many thanks!

I came to your blog through Sew Mama Sew's October Scrap Buster Contest. I loved it then and I'm glad to see it again for the Bloggers' Quilt Festival because I still love it!

That's a really nice quilt! Love the diagonal strips. I've just drawn a design for something similar based on a tile wall I saw in an architecture show. It's lovely to how it might work (if I ever make it...) Thanks, Ann.
