hello! . . . . and a giveaway

hello, dear friends!  it has been a while, I know.  but here I am, and back with a giveaway!

melissa from lilac lane is getting ready to release her very first fabric line, and with it she has a few darling patterns.  the first is 'BOUNTIFUL, a grocery bag, a gift bag, a lunchbag.'

the next is cute little purse, 'the JOY bag'.

i was lucky enough to be one of her pattern testers on 'the JOY bag.'  here is my version--

if you want a copy of melissa's patterns, you can find them here, at quiltwoman.com.  or, you can leave me a comment here for a chance to win a copy. . .

in your comment, just tell me which pattern you would prefer and what your sewing plans are for the summer.  i will pick a winner next wednesday.

talk to you soon!

  1. Love the bags. I think I would use the grocery bag the most. I would like to make a spider web quilt this summer and try my hand at making a skirt or two.

For summer, I've GOT to get some new skirts finished for my oldest daughter, she's outgrowing everything and enjoys wearing pretty skirts!

Thanks for the fun! Hopefully I'll be sewing some Joy bags too. ;)
