Pattern Review-- The Can-Can Skirt and GIVEAWAY!

How many of these have I sewn?  I am not sure I can count them all!   How many more color combinations are there?  Well, I just discovered yesterday that the nylon chiffon is dye-able!  Hmmmmm. . . .

Pattern Format:  pdf Pattern

Sizes Included:  EVERY size!

What I like about this pattern:  Ummm, have you SEEN this skirt?  Fabulous!  It is like the an updated version of a pettiskirt.  AND you can make it in any size!  Don't you just want to make one for yourself?

You can also purchase production licenses from Dana so that you can make and sell the skirts in your own etsy store.  If you are like me and always trying to find a way to make a little money with your hobby, this is great.

Anything I would change:  Well, in order for the pattern to be in any size, you have to do some of your own math.  Not a big deal really, just takes a little more time.  Also, the skirt is a little time-consuming.  It can be slightly tedious, but hello?!?  Totally worth it!

Where to purchase the pattern:  The pattern is available on Dana's blog.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dana is giving away two copies to you!  How generous is that?  Just leave a comment here and I will randomly pick a winner on Feb. 26.

  1. In the 1950's my babysitter wore prom dresses like this!
In the 1970's I bought them at rummage sales for 25 to 50 cents and repurposed them for princess and ballet costumes for my girls!
There really is nothing new under the sun, is there.....

Has anyone tried home-dying chiffon yet?
