  7. My daughter would LOVE this! My favorite sewing pattern is the Oliver & S jumprope dress (view B). I've made two dresses and modified the pattern slightly to make a shirt. I've even used the pockets on a pair of pants.

  17. Oh my word that skirt is fabulous! I have a 3 yr old daughter named Audrey who loves to swirl and twirl.

    My favorite pattern is a simple little girl sundress tutorial done by crazymomquils.blogspot.com. I have made it a few times and marvel at how easy it is every time.

    I also love any simple PJ patterns as well as the Melly and Me stuffed elephant pattern.

  54. I bought the Can-Can skirt pattern ages ago and have made it in many plain (no chiffon) variations but have been really wanting to get around to doing it properly!

    Another favorite pattern for me is the Hoodie pattern from Scientific Seamstress. Easy to sew, easy to modify and personalize. I make this hoodie for gifts all the time!

  90. My daughter would absolutely flip over a can-can skirt!! My favorite tutorial would have to be the Spring Ruffle Top by Made-by-Rae, which I have made twice, once as a maternity shirt. It was so simple, that I was able to make very different shirts each time and even adapt a matching one for my 3 year-old.

  176. What a pretty skirt!!! I have not made many things from patterns yet (mostly just free online tutorials so far). I did make a reversible tunic top from DMK and although it took me a couple tries to get it right, it made a really sweet top!

    I just bought Leila and Ben's simple peasant dress for girls, and I have to say that it was so easy to print out and use - the pattern is 2 pieces and takes up a grand total of 4 printer pages, easy peasy. Loved it!
