Kendi's Blankies

This shouldn't come as too much of a suprise to anyone, but I have made quite a few blankies for Kendi. I actually have a couple more that I still have to finish. . . but I have managed to lose them in my piles of crafts supplies (maybe a good indication that I have too many???). The first one is a classic rag quilt. I have made literally about a hundred of these. As a matter of fact, most of you probably have one that I made for you. I really liked the colors of this one.

This one is a crochets trellis pattern. It is hard to see in the picture, but there are bright colors mixed in with the black all over. I love the colors!

Obviously this is NOT a blankie, but I did make it. It is a homemade version of the "Tummy-Time Boppy". It is perfect for tiny little ones for tummy time. Kira loved hers (store bought version).

This is such a fun pattern to crochet! It is hard to see in the picture, but there are fun bumps all over the blanket. So soft!
I love how this one turned out, but yuck! It is awful to work with. It is furry fleece and it sheds EVERYWHERE!!! My scissors were turquoise after cutting this one and the carpet and my sewing machines were, too.

And, my very favorite! Another chenille blanket. Again, I LOVE the fun colors!

  1. I actually think I just became jealous of an unborn baby. Maybe she will love me enough to share! (Even though my blankie is off limits to anyone and everyone!)
