Help for Japan

Everytime there is a disaster of some kind, I always have so much admiration for those that jump to it and have some great idea as to how to help.  Well, THIS time, I decided to just do it-- take the inspiration from so many others and DO something!

And while money is still pretty tight in our household, I decided that perhaps I could use my talents instead.

So, I am going to auction a couple of things in the following posts.  100% of the profit will go directly towards relief in Japan.

And please spread the word!  Facebook it, tweet it, blog it whatever!  Remember, it is to help others.

Love you all!  Thank you for your inspiration and your help!

I just want to tell you how commendable your efforts are!! I won't be bidding on your auction as we only have boys but I think this is a great idea! (we donated already but are also selling some stuff on ebay for this purpose as well.)

I shared it here, http://hopefulthreads.blogspot.com/2011/03/one-mamas-effort.html If there is a way to create a "blog hop" or something, I would totally be in for sewing something for this cause too! Anyone with more experience have any ideas?

Thank you so much for doing this. My family and I live in Okinawa Japan. Our little island was effected by the earthquakes and tsunami which is a true blessing. It has been heartbreaking to watch mainland go through this. We have come to love the Japanese people and this a true tragedy. I have so much admiration for those who are stepping to help them out. Every little bit counts and the Japanese people can use all the help they can get right now!
