In the Pink...

This baby quilt is the first quilt I've made that incorporates linen. I really like the combination of the cotton prints with the texture of the linen. I've quilted it in a concentric 'V' formation to give the large solid areas of linen additional interest. It is backed with pink cotton with large polka dots.

We have so enjoyed seeing your beautiful quilts! Thank you for your hard work.

I have enjoyed your quilts! The quilting is great. How does it wash with the linen?

Wow, Amy. This is exactly what I think of when I heard the "Modern" theme - I love all the white sashing and that you used linen. And that quilting is awesome.

My favorite once again!

Melissa, Sheryl, & Eve - thanks for the sweet comments. I've had such fun with this the last several months.

Sheryl, I haven't sewn the label on yet, so it hasn't been laundered. I've heard that the linen launders well. I guess I'll find out soon.
