The Preston Dress

Are you ahead of the game and working on school clothes? Add some longer sleeves and you have a perfect school girl frock!

To make the sleeves longer, simply lengthen them! I found that to make them bell like sleeves that weren't too wide, it worked to just keep them exactly square with the original pattern. To find the length, measure the length on your child from the underarm seam to the length you want your sleeve. That will be the amount you add to the pattern.

This apron is just a square of fabric with finished edges. It is stitched right across the front with no gathers.
