The Sweet Dress

When money is tight, sewing should be a better alternative to buying clothes--
but is it?
To buy a pattern and the supplies can often times make sewing MORE expensive than buying clothing.

My goal this month, is to share ways in which you can take one simple pattern and make it into MANY different outfits, thus cutting some of the costs for sewing.

The pattern I am going use it called The Sweet Dress, by Leila and Ben.
It is a simple, ADORABLE dress that is perfect for 'making-over.'
It has a classic a-line shape. The pattern is ideal for beginners and can be made in record speed!

I remember the first time I came across Leila and Ben.

I was searching on etsy for pdf patterns and came across this:

And I was hooked!

Leila and Ben have a fresh, simple style with several crochet and sewing patterns available. Here is what they have to say:

We're two moms who make handmade sewing and crochet patterns for modern kids.

All of our patterns are made with the beginner in mind and feature step-by-step instructions and clear photographs to make your projects a success!

They are very generous, too! Each week of this month they will giveaway one Sweet Dress pattern pack, which includes the Sweet Dress pattern in size 12M to 5T and the Sweet Dress for Babies for sizes 3M to 12M.

So how can you win one?

Easy! Just leave a comment on any post this week and you will be entered into the drawing. Want more chances? The more comments you make, the more chances you get. You can leave one comment on each and every post and a name will be drawn out of all the comments for the week. Make sure leave a way for me to reach you, in case you win!
