A Gift to Me!!!

Look at how lucky I am! By far my favorite Christmas gift for me. It makes my life so much easier. Finding thread in this mess:
is rather frustrating. I only wish it held more thread. . . Hard to imagine, I know! But I still have three rather large boxes full of thread.

I had my older girlies help me find the colors of thread to arrange my new rack. They must have enjoyed themselves because the next day, they asked me why I hadn't used up any of the thread on the rack as they wanted to help fill it up again. ;0) Thank goodness I don't use thread THAT fast. . . I would have to spend every penny on thread!

I'm jealous! I have a thread rack for my large cones of quilting thread, but nowhere to HANG IT! So my threads are all in a pile, too. Except for in one of those plastic sets of drawers! :(

My dream is to find an old thread rack from a fabric store and use it in my sewing room to hold all my threads neat and tidy. Until then they are in large cookie tins.

I remember your bins of thread! That organizer definitely looks more helpful.

I can help you out with your extra thread! Ha ha! Looks good -- I don't have nearly that much, but I do have an organizer like that. It's the best.

I'm not sure which I'm more jealous of...your organizer or the selection of thread!!! I've got my small stash in a rather large old pickle jar...it looks so weenie!
A lovely gift to yourself!
