I made my first quilt as a 4-H project when I was in high school and I used cardboard for the templates so none of the blocks turned out the same size. It was neon green and bright yellow (I was big on Miami Vice). After that experience, I did not make another quilt until I was pregnant with my first child. This time around I learned all about rotary cutters and found lots more variety in fabrics! I got hooked and 13 years later, I'm still stitching away and I still love bright green! I'm married to a sports nut and I have three sons ranging in ages from 6 to 13 years old. Adding to all the household chaos are three dogs, four cats, and a snake. Besides quilting, I like to grow coneflowers, camp, and read mysteries. I can't wait to get started and I'm looking forward to challenging myself to try new things. You can read more about my adventures at my blog.
