One of the fabulous parts of having a PDF pattern is that you can print the pattern as many times as you want!
For this dress, print yourself an extra dress pattern. Cut to the size you want.
Then chop it!
I did varying lengths until just a couple inches below the underarm seam. Mark your pattern pieces with numbers so that you know what order to put them back together in.
Use your cut pieces to cut out the fabric. You will want to add a seam allowance on each piece, where you cut. The hem and neckline do not need an extra seam allowance.
Sew the pieces together from the bottom to the top. Iron the finished seams and topstitch.
Now finish the dress as instructed.
How many different versions can you make? The possibilities are endless!
P.S. Yes, I do have an iron. . . I just prefer not to use it!

Well, this is darling! I have been teaching myself how to sew clothing on my sewing machine, which I bought over a year ago on a whim. Anyway, I have had much success--made a skirt for myself last week and a ruffle skirt for my daughter. Thus far, I have learned how to hem, make ruffles, and sew a casing with elastic. Hooray!

Irons are overrated. I regularly iron fabric for sewing purposes, but rarely iron clothes for wearing - this explains why I couldn't wear any of the half dozen white blouses in my closet this morning.
